"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). When you think of praying to the Creator God, do you think of approaching His throne? He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and does rule from His throne in heaven. But when we read His Word and learn more and more about Him, we will come to understand that His throne can be a throne of grace, and if we know His Son as our Lord and Savior, or desire to know Him, we are invited to approach His throne with confidence; where we can receive mercy if we have sinned and desire to repent. We are also encouraged to believe that we can find grace to help us in our times of need, which none of us are exempt from. I never cease to be amazed, and sense the privilege of having an invitation to approach the almighty, Creator God when I reach up and out to Him for help. So, I encourage you to approach His throne with your every need, and believe this promise of His that mercy, grace and help are to be found with Him. But don't forget all of this is provided through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, whom if you don't know, finding Him will need to be your first step towards being able and invited to approach God's throne of grace with confidence. Never forget this privilege awaits you. Love and prayers.

"Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim You, who walk in the light of Your presence, O Lord" (Psalm 89:15). Finding, knowing and walking with the Lord is not an overnight experience. Actually, it is a lifetime experience, but it does start with a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, Whom, when you really come to know Him as your Lord and Savior, you will want to acclaim Him, or let others know about the joy and peace He brings to your mind, heart and soul as you learn to walk in the light of His Presence. The Creator God takes away our spiritual darkness and replaces it with the light of His abiding Presence as we become a true follower of His Son. Again, all of this must begin with a desire to know and follow Him, which is a gift of God's Spirit, but we will not receive it without seeking and asking the Heavenly Father for it. If you have already experienced this process, you will want others to join you. If you have not sought and found Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, today is as good as any to seek and find Him. There are paths in God's holy Word, and people available, to point the way to becoming one who acclaims and walks in the light of God's Presence. What a gift for us! Love and prayers.

"Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage" (Psalm 84:5). Whose strength do you depend on as you make your way through life? The Psalmist found that we are blessed when we place our trust in God's love and strength, which we are assured of if our hearts are set on being a pilgrim while journeying through this life to spend eternity with our God and His Son, Jesus Christ. We must realize it's not what we do that counts, but where our hearts are when we do it. We are to seek to have God's ways in our hearts, and our hearts in His ways if we desire to be blessed with His strength as we make our way through life. This can and will come through prayer and believing His promises found in His Word. It is indeed a pilgrimage, but one filled with hope if we know and follow Jesus Christ to the end. Love and prayers.

"The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him" (Lamentations 3:25). Do you have a wrong view of God? Do you think of Him as ready to "get you" when you have sinned or neglected to seek Him and His will about something? This passage should offer you encouragement in seeking to know the truth related to the Creator God. The truth is, He is a good God for all who truly want to know and follow Him. And when you do seek this for yourself, without ulterior motives in getting everything you want from Him, you will find He is good, which provides you with hope for this life and an eternal life that will carry you into the next one. But all of this depends on you desiring and seeking Him as a way of life in the present. But think what life would be like without there being a loving and merciful God Who desires for you to put your hope and trust in Him and His goodness I have found this God through His Son, Jesus Christ, and do my best to love and serve Him with all of my heart, soul and mind as He asks us to do; and would encourage all of you to do the same, since He has never left me without His goodness and hope when I truly seek and believe His promises. Love and prayers.

"The Lord is with you when you are with Him. If you seek him, He will be found by you" (2 Chronicles 15:2). What a challenge this affords us with. Have you sought the Lord and found Him? If not here is your invitation to do so. Knowing and being with the Lord will always require seeking Him first to experience salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ; and then seeking to please and follow Him. When we follow these directions, we can have the assurance that He will be found to provide us with His directions for our life, strength when we need it, and His abiding Presence to keep us assured of His love and grace. But we must never forget that He only promises to be with us when we are with Him, and yet, He will provide the desire and knowledge to be with Him when we truly desire to do so. This provides a "no lose situation" when we sincerely desire to know and follow the Lord God of
heaven and earth. Praise His Name?

"The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age" (Titus 2:11-12). This passage immediately removes any question about who and who cannot know God's salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. And it also makes it very plain that a personal, saving encounter with the Son of God, and the implantation of God's Holy Spirit into the spirit of our minds changes us and our behaviors. Some of God's most exalted and used men and women have come from a previous life of sin and debauchery; such as John Newton, the author of "Amazing Grace." So, Titus has written, and God has preserved it for us in His Word, that through the grace of God we can be men and women who live godly lives in this present age. And for now we are experiencing some troublesome times, and only the Lord God of heaven and earth - the Almighty God - can deliver us and give us good days again. So, we need to seek Him for our personal salvation, if we haven't already; and if we have, spend much time in His Word and prayer for Him to "show up" bringing hope and deliverance across our nation and world. In the process, we will become changed persons; and He will be praised and glorified! We have all of this to hope for, and look forward to, if we will only believe and trust Him for being the God that He is! Love and prayers.

"Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me" (Psalm 62:5-7). I would like this passage to remind all who do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to determine today to seek and find Him by repenting of all your sins and surrendering your life to Him for time and eternity. If you do this, expect to be changed throughout your mind, body and soul into the person God wants you to be; and then ask God's Holy Spirit to make this passage become very personal, and your true desire and goal in life. This will bring the joy, happiness and even the success you might be seeking to reach. Seek Him in prayer and trust Him to hear you until you have found all this passage promises. Ask Him for such a desire and goal to become yours today. Love and prayers.

06/04/2026

"The Spirit (Holy Spirit) you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, 'Abba Father.' The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory" (Romans 8:15-17). I understand you can easily find this deep and difficult, but Paul is laying out very clearly what takes place between us, and God the Father of Jesus Christ, when we come to know Him as our Lord and Savior, and a son or daughter of the eternal Creator God Who becomes our Heavenly Father. We receive assurance of our salvation when it takes place by and through the Holy Spirit assuring us deep within our spirit that it is so. And we must face the reality that our freedom in Christ is not to live as we please, but freedom from the bo***ge of sin and displeasing our Heavenly Father which we desire to be our experience. And whatever sufferings come our way by being faithful to our God, including not pleasing our flesh, God will give us the strength to bear and allow us to share in the heirship of His Son, Who suffered that we might know the Almighty God as our Heavenly Father. Praise His Name for the gift of His Son! Love and prayers.
