What are you still holding back from God? Maybe it is not something dramatic.

Maybe it is just a corner of your heart you have not let Him into yet, a worry you keep trying to manage on your own, a part of your story you are still trying to control.

But true worship does not work that way. It is not a partial offering. It is not giving God the parts of your life that are easy to hand over while keeping the rest for yourself. It is laying it all down, the good and the broken, the surrendered and the still-resistant, and saying I trust You with every bit of it.

When you stop holding back, that is when you actually experience the fullness of what He has for you. So today, do not just sing the words. Mean them. I surrender all. Withholding nothing.

Society has written a story about Black fathers that does not reflect the men who are actually showing up every single day for their children. God never called fathers to live according to society's perception of who they are supposed to be. He called fathers to live according to His Word and to walk faithfully in the specific duty He placed on their life.

Nobody expects you to get it perfect every time because perfection is not the standard, effort and faithfulness are. You can guide your children, love them well, and pour wisdom into them with everything you have, but eventually they grow into their own person and have to make their own choices. That is not a failure on your part, that is simply how it works.

Your responsibility is to be faithful to what God called you to do regardless of how your children choose to respond to it. And faithfulness does not go unrewarded because God honors the fathers who show up consistently even when it is hard.

To every father pressing through despite the noise around you, keep being faithful because what you are doing matters more than you know.

Father's Day Message: Duties of a Faithful Father

This Father's Day, join us as we honor the men who faithfully answer God's call to fatherhood and explore the biblical responsibilities that leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." – Proverbs 22:6

Today we celebrate fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who demonstrate God's love through their leadership, sacrifice, and commitment to their families.

Happy Father's Day to all the faithful fathers who are making a difference one day, one prayer, and one example at a time.

We live in a culture that treats being busy like a badge of honor but God never designed you to run on empty forever.

The Sabbath is not a suggestion or an old religious tradition that does not apply to your life anymore. It is a gift from God and He built it into creation because He knew that your body, your mind, and your spirit all need intentional rest to function the way He designed them to.

Here is the thing though. If you refuse to honor the rest God is calling you to, your body will eventually make that decision for you. Sickness, burnout, and being forced to stop are sometimes God's way of knocking you on your back so that you have no choice but to look up and acknowledge Him.

The speaker admitted it personally because running yourself ragged until you hit a breaking point is something a lot of us know too well. God is not trying to slow you down to hurt you. He is trying to protect you from a version of yourself that is too exhausted to hear Him, serve well, or enjoy the life He gave you.

Honor the Sabbath the way God intended and choose rest before rest is chosen for you. Your hustle is not more important than your health and it is definitely not more important than your relationship with God.

Some people are looking for a reason to keep going. If that is you today, here is yours: God is still on the throne, He is still keeping His promises, and He has not forgotten about you.

He is your protection when life comes at you hard. He is your joy when sorrow tries to take over. He is your guide when the path ahead looks unclear, and He is your strength when you have nothing left to give. Think about everything you have walked through and the fact that you are still here.

That is God.

That is His hand on your life, keeping you, covering you, and never once leaving you on your own. You have come too far to give up now, because the same God who brought you through yesterday is still with you today. He is your all in all and that will never change.

There's something powerful about gathering together in the same room to lift our voices in worship, pray for one another, and experience God's presence as a unified community.

When we come together in person, we can look into each other's eyes, share genuine hugs, and create the kind of authentic connections that remind us we're part of God's family. In-person worship allows us to serve one another in real time—passing tissues during emotional moments, praying with hands on shoulders, and celebrating life's victories together.

The energy of corporate worship, where hundreds of hearts beat as one before the throne of God, creates an atmosphere where miracles happen and lives are transformed.

There's nothing quite like the sound of voices joining together in the same space, declaring God's goodness and experiencing His presence in ways that touch every sense.

Join us this Sunday for in-person worship—come as you are, bring your family and friends, and discover the joy of worshipping God alongside your church family.

God rested on the seventh day and He did not do that because He was tired. He did it to show you that rest is holy, intentional, and necessary for everyone including you.

The Sabbath was designed as a gift and when you refuse to receive it you are not being productive, you are being disobedient. A lot of us have been running so ragged for so long that we do not even realize how close to a breaking point we actually are.

And when you refuse to stop on your own God has a way of making you stop through sickness, exhaustion, or circumstances that bring everything to a sudden halt. Sometimes being knocked flat on your back is the only position that forces you to look up and actually see God again. That is not punishment, that is a loving Father getting your attention because He knows what running without rest is doing to you.

You were not built to go nonstop and no amount of productivity is worth the physical, mental, and spiritual cost of ignoring what God put in place to restore you. Make the Sabbath a real and honored part of your week before life forces a rest on you that you were not prepared for. God gave it to you as a gift so treat it like one.

Sunday Message: Why the Sabbath Matters

In a world that never seems to slow down, God invites us to do something radical: rest.

The Sabbath is more than a day off—it's a gift from God. A time to pause, worship, reflect, and reconnect with the One who gives us strength for every season.

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy." – Exodus 20:8

God never intended for us to live exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected. The Sabbath is His invitation to find rest, renewal, and refreshment in His presence.

A lot of people can quote scripture all day long but the real question is whether they are actually living by it.

Studying the Word of God was never meant to be like cramming for a final exam where you memorize names, terms, and verses just to pass a test.

Life itself is the test and you are taking it every single day. God's promises are not just beautiful words to post on your wall or recite at the right moment.

They are principles that are meant to shape how you make decisions, how you treat people, how you handle hard times, and how you show up in the world.

The Bible is your playbook and it already contains everything you need to be successful in this life. The problem is that too many people read the playbook without ever running the plays. Real success by

God's standard is not measured by how much you know but by how consistently you live out what you know.

His promises are true and they work but they work in the life of someone who is applying them and not just admiring them.

Take what God has said and start living it out because that is where the real victory is.
