We've all had moments where we heard somebody say something about God and just went along with it because it sounded right.

Maybe it was a message on social media, advice from someone we look up to, or something we heard at church. And when we trust the person saying it, it's easy to take their word for it.

But there's something special about opening your Bible and getting to know God's Word for yourself. ❤️

The more time you spend reading and understanding Scripture, the more confidence you'll have in recognizing what lines up with His truth. You'll begin to ask questions, think a little differently about what you hear, and grow in your relationship with God.

And that's something we can all keep working on, no matter how long we've been following Jesus. 🙌🏾📖

Sunday Message: Boots for Battle

Every believer is called to stand firm in the face of spiritual battles. But God doesn't just equip us to fight—He prepares us to stand and move forward with confidence in Him!

In Ephesians 6:15, Paul describes having our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace. These spiritual boots remind us that we must be prepared, grounded in God's truth, and ready to stand firm even when the battlefield gets rough.

“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.” — Ephesians 6:15 (KJV)

When life gets difficult, stay grounded in His peace. When the enemy attacks, stand firm in His promises. When God opens a door to share the Gospel, be ready to step forward.

Put on your boots. Get prepared. Stand firm. Be ready for battle!

Still waiting for God to answer something you have been praying about? 👀

Waiting can make you question the timing, but it can also teach you how to keep trusting God when you cannot see what comes next.

You do not have to have everything figured out before you come to church. Bring your questions, bring your family, bring your faith, and even bring the part of you that is still learning how to trust. ❤️🙌🏾

What do you do when everything in front of you says: this is impossible?

Maybe the diagnosis is discouraging, the money is not there, the opportunity seems gone, or the situation has already been labeled hopeless.

God is not limited by what limits us. When there is no clear path forward, faith still has a reason to believe because God is able to do what we cannot. ❤️

What if the news never changes today? Can God still get your praise? 🙏🏾

Paul and Silas did not wait for the prison doors to open before they worshiped.

They praised God while they were still locked up, and that says something about where their confidence was placed. Sometimes faith looks like thanking God while you still have questions and trusting His character while you are still waiting for answers.

Before you check for another update today, take a moment and give God praise. ❤️

Have you ever asked God for direction, then questioned the answer because it did not look the way you expected? That kind of doubt can show up in everyday choices, from relationships and work to money, parenting, and plans for the future.

Seeking God means staying open enough to listen even when His direction stretches you. You do not need to have every detail figured out before you trust Him with the next step. ❤️

Have you ever questioned your obedience because the outcome did not look the way you expected?

We assume that doing what God asks should produce immediate results, but Scripture shows us that faithfulness can still come with disappointment, resistance, and waiting.

Joseph remained faithful and still ended up in prison. His circumstances did not erase the value of his obedience. In the same way, one difficult outcome does not have to become the evidence you use to question every decision that follows. Keep seeking God, keep learning, and keep moving with wisdom. 🙏🏾❤️
