Since the event began in 2000, we h
ave raised nearly $700,000. MI-UCP (Michigan United Cerebral Palsy) is a local non-profit advocacy organization representing the needs of the 2.4 million Michiganders who with a disability. The Detroit Red Wing Alumni Association, which is the oldest such organization in the NHL, now plays around 30 games a year to the benefit of worthy charities. The alumni roster includes such names as John Ogrodnick, Darren McCarty, Todd Bertuzzi, Dino Ciccarelli Dennis Hextall, Joe Kocur, Craig Wolanan, Pat Peake, Eddie Mio and Mickey Redmond.
