Completing the Vision - Southland Auditorium Fundraising Campaign

The design of the Southland Auditorium donor wall has begun. All individual and class donations of $500(+) already made to the Completing the Vision Fundraising Campaign will be included on the initial wall design. There are some classes that are so close to the $500 mark. If there is an interest to be included on the initial donor wall design, please get your individual or class donations into the Southland District Office by June 1st. Any $500(+) donations received after June 1st will be added to the donor wall later, a date TBD.

Southland School District has surplus items from their ongoing renovation and also the closed elementary school building in Rose Creek. Now, all the items will be sold to the public with the highest bidder winning. Highlights include shop equipment, food service equipment, desks, chairs, lawnmower,....

The remodel of the auditorium space is in full-swing and we are looking forward to the end result. The Vision Committee is still accepting donations towards the projects. Individual or class donations of $500(+) will be honored on the donor wall.

The Project Oversight Committee continues to work with the design team on the auditorium renovation project. Donations will continue to be accepted until the goal of $630,000 is met. We are currently at $493,556 in donations. Truly amazing!! We also have some amazing numbers from our class donations. As a reminder, all donations of $500+ will be recognized on the donor wall.

Does your employer have a matching gift program? If so, please remember to submit a matching gift request to your employer after making a donation to the Southland Auditorium Fundraising Campaign. Many corporations offer a matching gift program where the corporation matches the monetary donation of an employee to the nonprofit organization.

We’re getting closer! Although plans are underway for the new and improved auditorium space, donations will continue to be accepted until we reach our goal of $630,000, which will enable us to equip this space with all of the necessary items to make it fully functional for our students and their supporters. Let’s go, Rebels!
