We are so grateful to Alex Kinnear and his crew who put in long hours this weekend to complete the stone work around the pillars to get it ready for our 1st Memorial Day Service today. It looks great! 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage, service, and dedication will never be forgotten.

We are especially proud to have been a part of this beautiful memorial, featuring Fond du Lac Natural Stone – Silver Ledge, expertly installed by Alex Kinnear. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and respect shown throughout this project created a lasting tribute worthy of the heroes it honors.

Thank you, Alex, for your outstanding stonework and for helping bring this meaningful memorial to life.

As you spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, please take a moment to remember those who gave everything for our country. ❤️🤍💙

Reminder that the Adams American Legion Post 146 will be visiting the Freedom Veteran's Memorial as part of their Memorial Day Services @ 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25th. Please see our previous post or visit the Adams American Legion FB page for their full Memorial Day Services schedule.
We offer a big Thank You to the Legion for including the Memorial in their service schedule. We also offer our greatest respect and gratitude to all past and present service members. May their sacrifice always be remembered, especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

‼️Plaque Order Reminder:

We are getting close to submitting our next plaque order! Deadline is February 1, 2026. Plaques will be added to the walls by the Memorial Day holiday. (Our next order deadline after this one will be August 1st.)

If you would like to purchase a plaque for yourself, a family member, or a friend you can send an email to [email protected] to request an application or applications can also be picked up at the City of Adams office. Plaque applications can also be downloaded/printed from our FB page.

Note: Active and retired military are eligible for plaques.

🎄🇺🇲🎁 Have a Veteran on your Christmas list? Honor their sacrifice and preserve their memory by purchasing a Veteran's plaque for them.

We are so excited to share that Wall A has arrived and the rest of the original plaque orders have been placed!
We'll be placing two plaque orders in 2026 - February 1st order deadline (installed by Memorial Day) and August 1st order deadline (installed by Veteran's Day).
