We’ve been getting lots of questions about fostering (which we LOVE!), so here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions, and some cuties that needs a foster or adopter:

🐾 Live within 1 hour of Southern Pines and be able to transport your foster dog to vet appointments and monthly adoption events
🐾 Be at least 25 years old
🐾 Complete and receive approval of our foster application, including a vet check, home check, and background check
🐾 Commit to fostering for approximately 2 months. We can often help arrange short-term fosters or boarding for vacations, work trips, and emergencies

We are so grateful for all the amazing fosters who joined us this month. Thanks to you, so many pups are safe and thriving. We still have three boys hoping for a foster or foster takeover.

🧡 Archer
Archer is our longest resident because of his allergies, but he is truly the easiest roommate. He is potty trained, crate trained, quiet, and walks beautifully on a leash. He tries so hard to be perfect and becomes adorably apologetic when his excitement gets the best of him.

💙 Mateo
Mateo is a bulldog boy returning to us after five years through no fault of his own. He is deeply loved, but his dad’s living situation has changed and this is the best move for him. Mateo is now 5 years old, dog and cat approved, and a very good boy.

🩵 Cletus (Mugsy)
Cletus is a 40 lb low rider with the perfect mix of energy and sweetness. He loves gentle play with small dogs, going for rides, and snuggling on the couch. He is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash.

All pups are fully vetted, HW negative, and neutered.

Today is transport day and we are PUMPED!

Thanks to our partnership with Georgia Canine Rescue & Rehab and the incredible dedication of fosters and volunteers, we are heading to Georgia to scoop up FIVE new recruits.

Yesterday we were in full prep mode to make sure their transition is as low stress as possible, as well as ensuring our fosters are set up for success.

If you would like to donate toward gas, vet bills, or some goodies for the new pups, we would truly appreciate it ❤️

PLEASE SHARE!

Our rescue partner is overflowing with fully vetted and thoroughly temperament tested pups, and we are heading to Georgia.

We need dedicated fosters immediately so we can move these dogs and make room for urgent cases coming in daily.
