This Memorial Day, we honor and remember all who served and those we've lost, as we continue in our mission of providing Unwavering Support for Uncommon Heroes.

Throughout the day we will be sharing photos from the Memorial Day programs, projects, events and ceremonies posted or sent in by VFW Auxiliary members, which will also be compiled in an album for future perusal.

VFW Auxiliary 7318, Department of North Carolina:
In a Day of Service event over Memorial Day weekend, 14 members of VFW John Boyd Post 7318 and 11 members of their Auxiliary teamed up at St. Anthony’s of Padua Cemetery in Southern Pines. Together, volunteers spent the morning cleaning, restoring gravesites and placing American Flags to honor those who served. They shared to Facebook, "Thank you to everyone who came out at 0900 to dedicate their time and hard work to beautifying these sacred grounds. We are incredibly proud of our community and our veterans."

‼️Join us tomorrow at 9am at the cemetery on Camp Easter Rd. It's our service to community day! Refresh and restore grave sites and gardens. If you're physically unable to help around the cemetery, you can still support the post. A tent is being provided to help provide t-shirts and cleaning supplies to others. Hopefully we will see you then!!! 🇺🇸😁😎🇺🇸
