A huge thank you to all those who joined us at Sunday's Bourbon & Cigar Fundraiser! We are so proud to support our military veterans!

🥃 Selectwoman Wendy Bernard, and Southbury Zoning Board of Appeals member Lisa Antrum, joined Mary O’Neil and Southbury First Selectman Tim O’Neil at the Bourbon & Cigar Fundraiser on Sunday, November 1 at Julio's Wood Fired Pizza & Grille on Main Street. The event benefitted a CT veteran organization supporting su***de prevention, PTSD resources, and overall wellness.
🇺🇸 Selectwoman Bernard is a recipient of the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medals, with twenty-four years of honorable military service, now retired.
🌟 The event was hosted by the Tribury Rotary Club and the Rotary Network for Empowering Women, and featured a guided bourbon tasting and masterclasses featuring selections from Litchfield Distillery, hand-rolled ci**rs and a specialized smoked pulled pork dinner. It was a wonderful evening supporting our veterans.

The Tribury Rotary Club is proud to support Feed the Need Northeast's "Making a Difference" Summer Series 2026, and we're asking our community to help us fight food insecurity right here in Connecticut.

Did you know?

More than 516,000 people in Connecticut are food insecure.
1 in 7 Connecticut residents struggles with access to food.
1 in 6 children in our state faces food insecurity.

Together, we can help stock local food pantries and provide meals to families, seniors, and individuals in need.

Canned fruits, vegetables, beans, and proteins
Peanut butter and jelly
Mac & cheese
Soup and pasta sauce
Rice, pasta, and grains
Shelf-stable milk
Cereal and oatmeal
Crackers and popcorn
