This page is for the Pulaski County Humane Society in Somerset, KY. The Pulaski County Humane Society is a Non-Profit organization ran solely by volunteers. We don't have a facility, just foster homes. We try to find loving, forever homes for the pets in our care. We also have a spay/neuter clinic. We have 2 adoptathons a month at our spay/neuter building (179 Chris Way) on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. For more info, visit our website.

These 4 dogs and 2 others were dumped out in the country. These 4 are the lucky ones that have been caught. Two others are still running and are in the process of being caught. These 4 are now up to date on shots and 3 of them have been spayed, the other one will be spayed soon. All of them are good with other dogs and cats in their foster home. Ages and weights are on their individual pictures. If anyone is interested, apply on our website www.bhumane.org

As you can see from these photos the cupboards at the Somerset Humane Society SPCHS, are pretty bare.
Our foster dogs and cats are our highest priority and we are seeking new corporate partners to help with food donations or low cost purchases.
Currently SPCHS must suspend all food give-away to the community. When we can resume we will share new restrictions.

If anyone or group in the community would like to do a food drive it would be greatly appreciated or any individual who buys food, we are open every Thursdays 11-2 and also Friday October 30, all day.

Nestle and Chantilly are looking for a forever home. Both are blind due to the neglect of the person that taped them up in a box along with their mom and siblings and dumped them. Their eyes could not be saved. That being said they are adorable, friendly, playful and have figured out the lay of the house in no time. They are friendly, affectionate, current on vaccinations and litter trained. Nestle is neutered and microchipped and Chantilly has her appointment next week. Adoption fee is $175 for the pair as we would like them to stay together. If interested, apply on our website. www.bhumane.org
