ASARC was proud to participate in the Community Health and Wellness Fair this past weekend in Nancy at the Mill Springs Fellowship Church, connecting with community members and providing information on sexual assault awareness, prevention, and available support services. The event also offered valuable access to preventative health screenings and wellness resources from a variety of healthcare providers. We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with community partners in promoting health, safety, and well-being for all.

The Adanta Sexual Assault Resource Center was honored to attend and table at A Wholeness Experience, a community event dedicated to health, healing, wellness, and connection.

Events like these provide valuable opportunities to share information about our free and confidential services, connect with community members, and strengthen partnerships that support survivors across our region. We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our table, asked questions, and learned more about the resources available through ASARC.

Last week, ASARC staff (Danielle Cox, Natosha Young and Erin Williams) attended a tour of the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory. Thanks to KSP and KASAP for providing this opportunity to have a closer look at the forensic process. This ultimately helps advocates to strengthen our support for survivors!
