August gives way to September (and kids go back to school)! Join us this week at the Library for:

Monday-Thursday - Laptop Open Labs (teens and adults)
Tuesday at 6:00 pm - 1st Tuesday Book Clubs (adults)
Wednesday at 10:30 am - Toddler Time (ages 0-3)

This will also be the LAST week of summer hours - we will be closed next Monday for Labor Day, then resume our regular schedule: Monday-Friday 10-6, and Saturday 9-4.

NOTE: The Biesecker Library returns to its normal fall hours on Tuesday, September 8th (after Labor Day). Starting on September 8th, our hours will be Monday-Friday 10-6, and Saturday 9-4.

Would you like to check out a laptop, learn computer skills or how to search for jobs? Stop by the Biesecker Library to take advantage of the Library Laptop Program! Patrons can visit the Biesecker Library Mondays through Thursdays at 12:30 pm for free open labs, teaching how to access job search and skills training through Metrix. You'll also be able to use a dedicated computer for telehealth resources. Laptops are also FREE to use or check out from the Library! One month until our first Fall Speaker! Brady J. Crytzer is an author and professor of history at Robert Morris University, who has written several books on Western PA including "The Whiskey Rebellion: A Distilled History of An American Crisis" and most recently "The National Road: George Washington and America's First Highway West." He will join us on Thursday, September 24 at 6:00 to speak about the Whiskey Rebellion.
