This is the last week to nominate for the YPA'S The Young Professionals award ceremony. This ceremony serves to recognize and award stand out young professionals (40 & Under), businesses, and community leaders from the Lake Cumberland region. Here are the following categories. Businessman of the Year: Recognizes an outstanding male business leader who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and operational success over the past year. The ideal nominee drives economic growth, fosters innovation, and serves as a pillar of strength and integrity within the local business community.
Businesswoman of the Year: Honors an exemplary female business leader who has excelled in corporate achievement, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement. This award celebrates her professional dedication, mentorship of others, and significant impact on industry growth.
Business of the Year: Awarded to an established company or enterprise that exemplifies overall business excellence. Criteria include sound financial growth, superior customer service, employee development, ethical business practices, and a clear commitment to supporting the regional economy.
Non-Profit of the Year: Recognizes an organization or community group that has made a transformative impact on the community. This award honors extraordinary dedication to addressing critical social needs, efficient resource management, and measurable public benefits over the past year.
Stewardship of the Year: Celebrates a business, organization, or individual that has demonstrated exceptional responsibility in preserving community resources, fostering sustainability, or driving civic improvement. This award highlights leadership in environmental initiative, philanthropic giving, or long-term community development.
Young Professional Awards: Honors 10 rising stars under the age of 40 who demonstrate notable early-career achievement, leadership potential, and active civic involvement. From among these 10 distinguished honorees, one standout individual will be named the
Young Professional of the Year for superior contributions to their field and community.
