Our First Responders Event was full of fun, learning, and plenty of hands-on activities!
Families enjoyed activity stations, explored first responder vehicles, got an up-close look at a helicopter, and took home some fun giveaways.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the first responders who joined us and helped make this day so special! We’re also grateful for the collaboration between the Pulaski County Public Library , Imagination Library of Pulaski County KY, Lake Cumberland Headstart, and more.

Come out and celebrate the first ROPE event of the 26-27 school year with us! This event is full of free activities for all families, with a focus on children birth to 5. Plus, each child will receive a collection of school supplies to take home with them. Come join us next Tuesday evening at the Pulaski County Library Children’s Department!

It breaks my heart to share that Christie Adams passed away yesterday morning.
Christie helped bring the Pulaski County Dolly Parton Imagination Library affiliate to life, served as Chair of the Early Childhood Council for over a decade, and was involved in the Rotary, Chamber, PTA, and so much more. The list truly goes on.
She had a fierce passion for early childhood literacy and for making sure children in our community had every opportunity to learn and grow. She would volunteer at events with a smile on her face, passing out books, handing out candy or prizes, and helping with activities.
Our community is truly better because of Christie’s work. So many of us leaned on her, learned from her, and were blessed by her willingness to show up and serve. I know so many of us will miss her dearly. Her impact will continue through the children, families, and community she cared so deeply about. We were all blessed to know Christie and call her a friend.

In true Christie fashion, she is still giving. They have asked for donations to Rotary, Habitat, DPIL, or PCCECC instead of food or flowers.
