It breaks my heart to share that Christie Adams passed away yesterday morning.
Christie helped bring the Pulaski County Dolly Parton Imagination Library affiliate to life, served as Chair of the Early Childhood Council for over a decade, and was involved in the Rotary, Chamber, PTA, and so much more. The list truly goes on.
She had a fierce passion for early childhood literacy and for making sure children in our community had every opportunity to learn and grow. She would volunteer at events with a smile on her face, passing out books, handing out candy or prizes, and helping with activities.
Our community is truly better because of Christie’s work. So many of us leaned on her, learned from her, and were blessed by her willingness to show up and serve. I know so many of us will miss her dearly. Her impact will continue through the children, families, and community she cared so deeply about. We were all blessed to know Christie and call her a friend.
In true Christie fashion, she is still giving. They have asked for donations to Rotary, Habitat, DPIL, or PCCECC instead of food or flowers.
