-renowned horseman and best-selling author, Monty Roberts. Our equine-assisted therapy programs include Horse Sense & Healing for Veterans with PTSD, Fired-Up for active-duty fire service personnel, Partner-Up for active-duty law enforcement officers, and Lead-Up for at-risk youth. Participants in our programs learn Monty's alternatives to violence and force when working with a horse, and how they translate to everyday human-human interactions. Additionally, each program utilizes a powerful combination of Monty Roberts' horsemanship techniques and Motivational Interviewing (a client-centered therapy approach) to provide participants tools they need to overcome challenges in their particular situation including resilience-building, effective communication, re-establishing trust and improved self-awareness.
