Honored to have had the Honorable Denise de Bellefeuille join us at our first Twelve and Trade fundraiser.
Judge de Bellefeuille served more than two decades on the Santa Barbara County Superior Court bench, where much of her docket centered on juvenile cases — work that places children and families at the heart of the justice system. It is deeply meaningful work, requiring both wisdom and compassion.
Before joining the bench, she served as a Deputy District Attorney in Santa Barbara and San Bernardino counties, and briefly as a Public Defender, bringing a rare perspective from both sides of the courtroom.
Her commitment to young people and families has extended far beyond the courtroom as well, including her role as a founding board member of CASA of Santa Barbara, advocating for children who need support and a voice.
We are incredibly grateful she chose to spend time with us and support the mission of Twelve and Trade.
