President Vanessa Hertler presents a grant check to C.C. Beaudette-Wellman and Bonita Sargeant of Happy Endings Animal Rescue Sanctuary. Their organization provides refuge for abused and neglected horses and other domestic animals, promotes animal welfare education, and creates life-changing rehabilitation experiences for disadvantaged youth that benefit both children and horses.

The Santa Ynez Valley Rotary is proud to support Central Coast Safe Harbor, a newly formed nonprofit public benefit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, trauma-informed support for sexual assault survivors.

Last week, Club President Vanessa Hertler presented a grant check to founder and CEO Donna Eichelberger to help launch this important community resource.

The Santa Ynez Valley Rotary is honored to support PLANT FRUIT (People, Land, Agriculture, Nutrition & Training for Relief of Uganda’s Indigenous Tribes). Since 2022, their work with the Mikiingo Batwa has opened doors to education, stability, and long‑term possibilities. Last week, Club President Vanessa Hertler presented a grant check to founder Kim Mowder to help continue this important work.

Plant Fruit is a small U.S.-based nonprofit organization, headquartered in Thousand Oaks They are dedicated to supporting the Mikiingo Batwa, an Indigenous community in Uganda, by creating sustainable opportunities in farming, education, housing, and small business so that community members can build self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.

The club is pleased to cover the cost of lunch for potential members who are interested in getting to know us and considering membership. We will cover the cost of lunch for up to the first four meetings you attend.

$15 per person (includes lunch, beverage & dessert buffet)
