The Santa Barbara Youth Project is sponsoring an exciting program that is in the beginning stages of becoming its own Non-Profit: MAS. To kick off its introduction we are having an outdoor Summer Concert Series at the Santa Ynez Valley Botanic Garden in Riverview Park in Buellton on June 28th, 2026 at 5:00.

Please see below for details:

MÁS ( Music & Art Support )
More Music, More Art, More Community

We provide sliding scale (pay as you can), high quality music education, music events, and a music record label for the community of the Santa Ynez Valley

We provide access to instruments, bilingual music education and experiences,

We are a bilingual based developing non-profit that welcomes all people in our community to participate and benefit from the arts, regardless of race, financial status or other differences.

We work with local teachers, professionals and community members to host needed classes and events.

This creates a culture of more art, more music, and bridges gaps in our community, which results in a more educated, involved, expressive and healthy local community. When the arts are thriving and people of any age, or any race come together, we create more compassion, empathy and wholeness for our Valley and beyond.

MÁS is actively engaged with the Santa Ynez Valley community, working to bring music and the arts to all ages.

Our founder, Grey Bear Erickson has been living in the Santa Ynez Valley his whole life, except for attending the Los Angeles music Academy. He is committed to understanding the needs of the community as well as the time it takes to grow something with love and respect.

Your support as MÁS grows is an amazing gift.

The first connection you could make with MÁS is our summer concert series “Echoes In The Trees”

June 28th, our first concert is an afternoon of world class music from Joachim Cooder and his Trio at the Botanic Garden in Buellton. Come to the garden at 4:30 with a camping chair or beach blanket and enjoy 90 minutes of music at 5pm.

Pay what you can or pay it forward. Everyone has different capabilities for giving, please give what you can. This concert series is a fundraiser for MÁS, sponsored by the Santa Barbara Youth Project, a 501(c)3 nonprofit and entry donations are tax deductible and can be made at sbyp.org by check, PayPal or Venmo () or by check made out to “SBYP” and handed in at the concert .

Thank you for your support at the start of something truly special and meaningful for all ~
