Join us on Saturday, June 6, for Duvall Days. Come cheer on our Carnation preschool kids as they represent Encompass in the Kiddie Parade at 10:30. Then, find our booth along Main Street for a spin on our prize wheel. We'll be set up from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. We'd love to see you!

The fun continues with the Pride Picnic at Tolt Commons in Carnation on Sunday, June 7. Hosted by our friends at SNOVALLEY PRIDE, this day of community, love, and celebration will feature free food, free music, and plenty of art-making stations. Encompass will be on hand to help make friendship bracelets, masks, and rainbow scratch paper art notes. Celebrate Pride Month and join us anytime from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Thanks to Les Schwab Tire Centers and their Tires for Purpose program, the Encompass Mobile Therapy Unit (MTU) is rolling with a new set of tires!

The MTU is a therapy center on wheels that enables us to bring specialized services directly to the communities that need them. Used for therapy sessions by our Mental Health team, it visits local elementary schools during the school day, eliminating the need for families to travel for therapy appointments.

Research shows that reducing logistical barriers, such as transportation challenges, time constraints, and scheduling conflicts, significantly increases participation in mental health services, thereby improving outcomes for children and families.
Thank you to Les Schwab Tires for helping us keep the MTU safe and on the road as we serve children and families around the Snoqualmie Valley.

The MTU will be out and about in the community for parades and festivals this summer. Come and check it out!

As the days grow longer and summer approaches, the Encompass team is preparing for a full season of summer outreach events. Whether it's large-scale community festivals or farmers' markets, we'll be there with a variety of fun activities for kids of all ages. But aside from the flashy prize wheel, bounce houses, co****le games, or sensory activities, something more is at work.

Encompass is grateful to the DP Foundation for the donation of two new Automated External Defibrillators, more commonly known as AED devices, to support safety and emergency preparedness at Encompass.

Over 350,000 Americans suffer a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) annually, with survival rates coming in at less than 10%. Survival rates can soar to 80% if immediate CPR and swift defibrillation are administered. SCA occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating. It strikes people of all ages, including those who may seem healthy, even children and teens.

All Encompass staff who work directly with children are trained in CPR and AED use. Encompass also offers Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid certification classes for childcare providers, preschool teachers, and other non-parent caregivers in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Thank you to the DP Foundation for your kind donation. We know that having the equipment, resources, and training for first aid, CPR, and AED use saves lives. Your generosity will make a powerful difference for children and families in our community.
