Last year we visited this community and they told us we were the first Mzungu to come to their village. So when I showed up last week, she remembered me. When we visited last year, we were evaluating a spring to protect which is located right down the hill from her home here. We told her (and her village) that we were going to give them clean water.

An absolutely incredible day. God is good! All the time!

We visited several of the wells we built this past year. Last year, when we visited this community, they had never seen “mazungu” before. We told them we would bring them clean water. Now they have 6 wells. 🙌🏼

We also have started a school in a neighboring community. The chairperson knew this school needed repair and so we have answered the call. We have built 1 block so far (2 classrooms and a staff room). We plan to build three more blocks to accommodate their large school. May the Lord provide!

I can’t stress enough the impact each of these projects makes on GENERATIONS. Imagine you are an old woman or man, you have NEVER had clean water, and suddenly someone shows up and protects your family water source. Now your grandchildren have HOPE. Less disease, better hygiene, education, school materials, a FUTURE. All because someone who had nothing to gain from you shows up and helps your community. Hundreds of people fetch water from these wells. Hundreds of children benefit from the schools and latrines we build.

Each well costs $2500.

Every little donation helps us to DO MORE.

I wish you all could accompany me to visit this beautiful country on the mouth of the Nile. If only…

Planet Changer does not get money from Givlia. We have a new donation platform on the new, updated website. I assure you, besides the support we get from Treasures in Heaven Thrift Store, we only have 2 families who give each month. DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO GIVLIA. If you do not get an email from me every month when you donate, you are NOT donating to the current Planet Changer account. Please check this!

And Treasures in Heaven is only able to give about $5000-$8000 a month which can build 2 wells or help the school. My prayer is we can find new investors to support us consistently so we can DO MORE.

Each well costs $2500 to build.
The school blocks cost about $35,000 each to build.
Latrines cost $10,000 to build.

I am not paid by Planet Changer. Our money serves Uganda as much as possible.

Today we visited several protected wells from the past year in our newest community of Manafwa. we also evaluated a few new potential spots to protect. the kids are beautiful. the communities are gracious.

Just a little rainy season freshen up

It was so much fun to visit the Nakalado community again. 98 wells here over the last 13 years. This is the school we built two years ago and celebrated last year. The community is so thankful!

Thankfully a few people came together and because of their generosity we can get the school water collection tank installed!
