With US National Weather Service Seattle Washington's forecast of additional heavy to moderate rain, and the warmer temps we've experienced this week, we are opening the Sandbag Center here at Public Works.

If you are concerned about localized flooding impacting your home or business, stop by Wednesday and Thursday (8:30 to 4:30 p.m.), or Friday (8 to 12 p.m.).

It is never too early to start planning those family vacations, special events, and important milestones.

We know calendars matter to families. Whether you are coordinating travel, camps, childcare, or simply like to have your year mapped out early, we hope this helps you plan ahead with confidence.

It is exciting to get to see Snoqualmie Valley support our students and our schools this way. I'm grateful and humbled by your enthusiastic commitment to educational excellence and opportunity for each and every student in our community.

Thank you!

Thank you, Snoqualmie Valley!

The February 10 Special Election was certified as of February 20, and both of our renewal levies officially passed with strong community support.

The Educational Programs & Operations levy (EP&O) was approved with 63.44% voter support, and the Technology levy was approved with 62.45%. A levy requires 50% + one yes votes to pass.

We are deeply grateful to the Snoqualmie Valley community for continuing to stand behind our schools. By renewing these levies, voters have reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining academic programs, services, equipment and learning environments that help our students learn, grow, and succeed.

We take that trust seriously. Our district will continue working hard every day to be responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars while protecting and strengthening the opportunities that make our schools such a source of pride.

Thank you for supporting your local students and schools!

The district has announced two leadership updates for the 2026-27 school year. Thank you and congratulations to both John & Michelle

We are excited to share two leadership updates in the Snoqualmie Valley School District that will take place in the 2026-27 school year!

John Norberg will be stepping into the role of Assistant Principal at Mount Si High School after ten years of dedicated leadership as principal at Snoqualmie Elementary.

Michelle Trifunovic, who has served as principal at Chief Kanim Middle School for the past decade, will become the new Principal at Snoqualmie Elementary.

Both leaders bring tremendous experience and a deep commitment to students, staff, and families. We are grateful for their leadership and excited for the impact they will continue to make in our schools.

In the coming weeks, we will begin the process to hire a permanent principal for Chief Kanim Middle School! Please join us in congratulating John and Michelle on these new roles. 👏
