Kanista knows why she wants to become a nurse. ❤️

Now in her second year of nursing school in India, Kanista says she looks forward to one day “serving others through my profession.” She’s already taking on leadership roles at college and even completed an online course through ISRO, India’s space agency.

Her father works as a college bus driver, but knee pain has made it difficult for him to work regularly. With her brother also in college, education expenses are a stretch for the family.

Kanista is one of just three students still hoping for a sponsor. College sponsorship is $55 a month or $660 for the year.

Would you consider sponsoring Kanista?

Meet Jenifer, a first-year nursing student in India who loves caring for others. ❤️

Jenifer enjoys spending time with children, listening to music and being with her family. She hopes to someday work in a hospital, caring for patients and building a career that will also help support her family.

Both of Jenifer’s parents work as daily-wage laborers, and her father’s health limits how much he can work. Nursing school is simply more than her family can afford on their own.

A scholarship of $55/month or $660/year would help Jenifer continue her nursing education.

Our scholarship series continues! This week, meet Meera!

She’s always loved science and biology, especially learning about the human body and how to care for others. She also enjoys yoga and helping younger children with their studies.

Now that she’s finished 12th grade, Meera hopes to begin a four-year paramedical program and build a career in healthcare.

She’s worked hard to get this far. She just needs a little help with the next step.

A scholarship of $55/month or $660/year would help Meera continue her education and get started on a career caring for others. ❤️

We’re continuing to introduce you to some of the bright young students hoping to take the next step in their education. Today, meet Abisha!

Abisha loves learning, especially when she can get hands-on in the laboratory. She has participated in seminars and group discussions and has even received recognition from her university for her sincerity and dedication.

Abisha has already earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and hopes to continue on for her Master’s degree. Her father has passed away, and her mother is the family’s sole earner, making the cost of graduate school more than they can manage.

Abisha hopes to build a career in healthcare and research, where she can put her education to work helping others.

Will you help Abisha continue working toward her goals?

College sponsorship is $55/month or $660/year.

Last week, we began introducing you to some of the bright young students who are ready for the next step in their education—and looking for a little help to get there.

Meet Antony! An avid cyclist, Antony loves staying active and even won a prize at school for skating. Now he has a new challenge ahead: college.

Antony lost his father when he was just 10 years old. His mother worked as a cook to support Antony and his sister, but eventually the financial burden became too much, and Antony came to live at Fatima Home.

With the help of sponsorship, Antony completed 12th grade and is now hoping to study Artificial Intelligence at Loyola College of Engineering.

Antony has worked hard to get this far. A college sponsor can help him take the next step and see where all that hard work leads.

College sponsorship is $55/month or $660/year; will you help Antony take this next step?

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll introduce you to some of the remarkable young adults who have grown up in our children’s homes. They have worked hard, overcome challenges, and are now taking important steps toward their futures.

Meet Purity. She attended Saviour King Education Center in Kenya and dreams of becoming a Community Health Officer. Growing up in a large family with very limited resources, she experienced firsthand the difference community health services can make. Now, she hopes to provide that same support to other families in need.

Even after leaving Saviour King, Purity regularly returns to help wherever she is needed—cooking, cleaning, managing the library, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Wendy at Garden of Eden says Purity is “a caring and joyful young woman whose character truly stands out.”

Purity needs a sponsor to help her continue her education. Sponsorship is $55/month. Would you consider helping Purity take the next step toward her goal? ❤️

Meet Kebin.

For the past 12 years, Kebin has called Happy Home for Children in India his home. Child sponsorship helped make his education possible, and today he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Kebin chose nursing because he sees the need for compassionate healthcare and wants to use his education to serve others.

“I will help poor and needy people, this is my sincere wish.”

Kebin knows what it means to receive support when you need it most. Now, he dreams of giving back by caring for people in need.

He needs a sponsor to help him continue his college education and reach his goal of becoming a nurse. Your gift of $55/month (or ($660/year) can help make his next chapter possible. ❤️

Meet Amelia. She loves playing in the mud, eating bananas, and laughing with her friends—just like children everywhere.

But unlike many children, Amelia's opportunity to attend school depends on the generosity of people who believe every child deserves an education.

At Saviour King School in Kibera, Kenya, students like Amelia receive so much more than a classroom. They find caring teachers, nutritious meals, a safe place to learn, and encouragement toward better lives.

Through World's Children's Student Sponsorship Program, you can help provide school fees, uniforms, books, meals, and the support that allows a child to stay in school.

A monthly sponsorship is more than a gift—it's an investment in a child's future.

Will you help a student like Amelia? Learn more about sponsoring a student today.
