This isn’t just a sign. It’s an invitation into Sisters history. It’s a permanent fixture that says that this cemetery is not only legally owned now but also loved, cared for and protected. It’s the culmination of several years worth of dedication to this magnificent historic site. From the first idea of even having a sign like this to design, to the build with historic wood from the old Lazy Z Ranch barn wood to printing. Thanks to every contributor who helped make this happen.

Yesterday was a busy day at the cemetery. We are so blessed to have so many amazing volunteers.

Many thanks to the following for their incredibly hard work:

Grayson Sorrels, volunteer forester, for thinning rabbitbrush
and limbing trees to improve accessibility and fire safety.

Earl Schroeder for installing the Veterans appreciation plaque below the flag pole.

Hal Darcey, Lyle Musel and two other veterans helped install a stunning juniper bench donated by Sharon Karr and finished by Hal in his shop.

Bob Renggli for supporting the coordination of all of this and always keeping an eye on our beloved cemetery.
