Not only do we teach our youth how to choose a healthier lifestyle and understand the importance of proper exercise and food choices but we also help them to pursue their interests, nurture their talents, and broaden their viewpoints. With teenage pregnancy and drug abuse on the rise we know how important it is to reach out to this generation to get them involved in positive activities and mentor them to be the best they can be. Because of Bruce's support, 30 Boys & Girls Club members had the opportunity to receive a FREE bag of books to take home and enjoy. Reading opens doors to imagination, learning, and lifelong success, and this gift will help inspire a love of reading in the young people we serve.

Ay Matey!

Last week, our Boys & Girls Club members set sail on an unforgettable Pirate Week adventure filled with fun, creativity, and discovery!

From pirate-themed games and challenges to treasure hunts, crafts, STEM activities, and team-building adventures, our young buccaneers embraced every opportunity to learn, laugh, and explore. Members worked together to solve clues, create pirate treasures, test their skills, and make memories with friends old and new.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff who brought Pirate Week to life and to the families who trust us to provide a safe, fun, and enriching place for their children each day.

Join us on Monday, September 14th, 2026, at Moorpark Country Club for a day of golf, networking, fun, and philanthropy—all in support of local youth.

Every swing, sponsorship, and donation helps provide life-changing opportunities for more than 1,700 young people each year through academic support, STEM programs, leadership development, workforce readiness, healthy lifestyles, and enriching experiences that help build Great Futures.

A huge thank you to the Simi Valley Unified School District for partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark & Simi Valley to provide FREE nutritious lunches to all members attending our Summer Program!

Every day, our members can enjoy a healthy meal that keeps them energized for a summer filled with hands-on STEM activities, arts and crafts, sports, field trips, learning, and friendship. For many families, access to nutritious meals during the summer months is critically important, and we're grateful to SVUSD for helping ensure that no child goes hungry while school is out.

Together, we're making sure kids have everything they need to learn, grow, and thrive this summer.
