GCAG Gallery jewelry artist Stephanie Demme is in the spotlight this month, with work in two jewelry cases, on a special display, and in the window. Don't miss this limited opportunity to see this large collection of fused glass jewelry.

Happy Halloween everyone! We LOVED the annual treat or treat visit yesterday with pre-schoolers (or more accurately, bananas and pirates, princesses and other extra-ordinary visitors). Judy Menefee and Marsha Banas handed out treats, but there were treats to spare. Stop by the gallery TODAY and claim your own bit of holiday sweetness. (available until the bowl is empty)

Grant County Art Guild gallery artist Wendi Kitting Oliveira delighted us with a complete refresh of her handcrafted leather blank books at the gallery, including journals, sketchbooks, scrapbooks etc.

All the books in the photo are brand new to the gallery PLUS Wendi has books in the window this month--VERY gift-able as the holidays approach.

Figure Drawing TONIGHT (and every Thursday night) at the Grant County Art Guild Studio, 307 N Texas, corner of Yankie and Texas, in the Blue Dome Gallery. Sessions are from 6-8pm. No prior registration needed. Cost is $20.

What is exactly ONE month from today? The opening of the Grant County Art Guild's "Musical Visions" art exhibition. Each piece in the show represents, or is inspired by, music: musical experiences, genres, song titles and lyrics, musical instruments and more. The opening reception is the day after Thanksgiving, Nov 27, 5-7pm at the GCAG Studio.

Yesterday we posted that Mark Cantrell has BIG work at the gallery this month, which led to a question about whether his smaller work is still available. YES!! Mark's display includes a variety of wood carvings that range from yesterday's large masks to today's tiny treasures.

Mark Cantrell goes BIG this month with an additional GCAG Gallery display space that can accommodate his larger works. This display showcases carved wooden masks that preserve the character of the wood while organically exposing characters Cantrell brings to the surface. Some of the masks are intricately carved, with hidden faces coming to life as you examine the various planes of the piece.
