Now Accepting Applications - Sidney CIC Home Ownership Program
The CIC is currently accepting applications to purchase the next home we are building this year. We plan to break ground in October on our next home and plan to have it ready to sell by the end of the year.
This new, 1,289 s.f. 3-bedroom, 2-bath home will be offered for purchase at a reduced cost due to grant funding from the Welcome Home Ohio Program. We anticipate that the sale price for the 2026 home will be in the $160-170,00 range.
Families must be at or below the target income range and this is the biggest change for 2026. Due to funding from the Welcome Home Ohio Program, the family income limits have increased. For a family of four, the income limit increased from $ 76,000 to $$115,200. Applicants will need to qualify and be approved for a private mortgage. Home buyers will also need to complete a home ownership educational program.
