Lifesaving Care When Every Second Counts!

When a medical emergency strikes, every second matters!

Through grant support to Good Samaritan Foundation-Dayton, funding helped support CareFlight’s new helicopter, an essential resource that brings advanced medical care to patients when they need it most.

Serving as a flying intensive care unit, CareFlight’s highly trained flight nurses, paramedics, and pilots respond to serious accidents, strokes, heart attacks, and other life-threatening emergencies. The helicopter helps connect patients throughout southwest Ohio and surrounding communities to specialized medical care quickly.

CareFlight operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing hope and lifesaving care when it matters most.

The Community Foundation of Shelby County is proud to support organizations and resources that strengthen our communities and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives!
