How can serve others through Mercy Mission House programming?

DONATE a working old car. Transportation is one of the biggest barriers many homeless people face when trying to work and get to appointments. Our car program has been on hold due to a lack of donated cars. We have several applicants waiting for a vehicle match. In order to be eligible, the applicant has to complete a basic car maintenance course, volunteer 10 hours to Mercy Mission House, have a valid drivers license and insurance before the donated car is signed over to the applicant.

MEALS - We are so thankful for our monthly volunteers who bring food and serve our residents with nutritious food and fellowship. Thank you again to Little Caesars Love Kitchen for donating their time and delicious pizza to our community! Thank you to Agape Distribution Inc for donating drinks. What a wonderful blessing to all of us. There was a great turnout despite the rain.

We are so honored to be selected by Little Caesar's for their Love Kitchen distribution this Saturday, June 6th.

SIDNEY — The Little Caesars Love Kitchen will travel to Mercy Mission House, located at 950 Childrens Home Road in Sidney, this Saturday to serve fresh pizza.

Gardens are a peaceful reminder of new life, growth and God's gifts to nourish us. The shelter garden is starting to show sprouts and we are so excited to see the fruits of the labor of the staff, residents and volunteers who continue to work on the garden.

The local Post Office organized a food drive for the shelter. We cannot thank the community enough for the outpouring of support. We know the extra work this put on the mail carriers and we appreciate their sacrifice and hard work. THANK YOU!!

It is with great sadness that we share our Founder's 2 year old granddaughter passed away. Our new transitional housing facility will be named in her honor - Emmy's Place.
