Last week, our shelter director, Jay, and our Founder attended the Shelby County United Way, Inc. agency fair at Wilson Health. During the event, Shelby County United Way agency partners shared information about the great services provided in our community. We were thankful for the opportunity!

Happy Halloween! About a week ago, a past resident, Amber, held a crafting session and we made boho ghosts. Perfect decorations around the shelter for Halloween!

Last week, Shelby County Libraries held a crafternoon at the shelter. The project was creating faux stained glass pictures. The residents (and staff) had so much fun. Thank you for this creative activity!

It's pumpkin painting time! A huge thanks to West Ohio Foodbank for the pumpkins!

We had a great time picking pumpkins, painting pumpkins and taking time to celebrate together. Stop by the shelter to see the new decorations outside.

Today we are highlighting a belated birthday but so much more. Mike isn't just a resident at Mercy Mission House but is a mentor to many. We've asked him to help provide fellowship, guidance and mentor new residents.

Mike is always offering to help by volunteering for events, doing extra chores and helping anyone in need.
