We are so blessed to be in such a wonderful, giving community. Our local LOWE'S is going to help us with several improvement projects at the shelter and at Alpha Community Center . THANK YOU Lowe's Home Improvement !

We have served over 1,000 people since opening. 13% have been children under 18.

Mercy Mission House has three dedicated family rooms so families can stay togehter while facing homelessness. We created a designated area in our common room for kids to play and have kid programming on the TV.

Our latest donation - soap bars in "bags" that can be used as washcloths. Thank you to Destination Point Ministries for these handy hygiene items!

Mercy Mission House's Job Program is another key supportive service we offer residents.

We help create resumes, post job opportunities throughout the shelter, help obtain all identification documentation needed to work and provide transportation to pre-employment screenings, interviews and often for the first few weeks of work when available as well.

Our staff works hard to support our residents in finding stable income.

Since opening our doors, we have provided shelter to over 1,000 intakes. Our residents and past residents are not strangers. They are your co-workers, classmates and even the people serving you with a smile.

Over 70% of all residents were born and raised in Shelby County.

We have a saying at Mercy Mission House...every morning is a new beginning, every day is a new adventure and every person is deserving of God's love and mercy. One of our staff members painted this sunrise in honor of new beginnings.
