Physical validation for any NEW heifers and county show steers will be on Monday, October 26th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Whitewright FFA CTE Center (behind the high school). New heifers require breed registration papers and exhibitors must have ordered a validation tag. Contact the 4-H Office a.s.a.p. if you still need to order a tag.

Physical validation for all major and county show goats and lambs will be on Thursday, October 29th at 7:15 p.m. at the Loy Lake Show Grounds in the walk way by the swine barn. If you have not ordered tags, please contact the 4-H office immediately. Goats and lambs that were validated in June do not need to be re-validated unless their has been a change in ownership or a TLBA/TGBA tag added since the last validation. Registered breeding does/dams are validated every 3 years.

Final day to register a team for the Grayson County 4-H Food Challenge! The top 4 teams per grade division will advance to the District IV 4-H Contest on October 30th!

We are back with another Fall Food Drive Challenge for Master Key Ministries! This year, Grayson County 4-H has been challenged to bring in 1,200 box meals for the Thanksgiving Food Distribution.

4-H Families can drop off their donations at their October 4-H Club meeting or donate via Square. Make sure to give credit to your 4-H Club for all donations.

The consequence for not coming in first place this year will be kissing a GOAT! Totals will be posted on Tuesday, October 27th!
