VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
We have several opportunities for you to come in and serve your community and Jesus 😊
🩵CLOTHING CLOSET, M-F, 12pm-3pm. We are flexible on this. We currently have volunteers who come in one day a week for a few hours, or a few days a week. We are mainly looking for afternoon coverage as most of our mornings are covered. I like to say volunteering in clothing is like doing laundry. Sorting, hanging, folding, and bagging while conversating with our clients.
🩵COMMUNITY MEALS, looking for cooks, individuals or small groups to prepare 25-40 meals for our folks. Menu can be provided or created. We serve from 12pm-1pm, M-F. We are also very flexiable on this. We currently have groups who do one week a month or individuals who do one day a week or a few days month.
🩵FOOD PANTRY, this ministry is currently growing! Needing help stocking shelves, packing boxes, assisting clients, and possibly placing orders. We eventually would like for our clients to be able to come back and shop the shelves themselves, but we are easing into this. Until then we are pre-packing the boxes.
🩵TREASURER, tracking our financials, as easy as keeping a checkbook. All payroll and taxes are completed by our accountant. We currently use Qucikbooks online. 2-3 hrs per week and qrtly meetings. Completing monthly financial reports, sending donation receipts, and thank yous.
Please know our first priority is serving our community, loving on our clients, and the great comission! We are seeking individuals who are aligned to this mission!
If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please reach out to our office. We have volunteer applications available at the front desk.
