Join us for a Wreath Retirement on Tuesday, March 10 at 3:30 p.m. at Shelby Oakland Cemetery and St. Mary’s Cemetery.

With temperatures in the low 70s — balmy for a March day in Ohio! — it’s a perfect afternoon to help. Volunteers will remove wreaths from veterans’ graves and place them along the road for pickup.

Quick and easy! Pickup trucks are especially helpful. Bring a friend and lend a hand

We will place sponsored wreaths in Oakland and St. Mary's cemeteries Saturday Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. Simply go to a section post, find the wreaths for that section, then find orange markers for sponsored veterans. Replace the orange flags with a wreath, bow at the 12 o'clock position. And say their name!
