2026 – Kids Oktoberfest Shirt Packaging

Following our Thursday, June 11, 2026 meeting, the Seymour Noon Lions stayed afterward to assemble this year’s special edition Kids Oktoberfest shirts featuring Sammy the Owl. Each shirt comes with washable markers so kids can color their design, wash it clean, and color it all over again — a fun, creative activity they can enjoy endlessly.

There is no minimum for pre‑sales, and shirts can be purchased through any Seymour Noon Lions member or via our page:

These are expected to go quickly, so be sure to reserve yours soon. We can’t wait to see all the colorful creations from our community’s youngest artists.

President’s Podium Makeover

At our Thursday, June 11, 2026 meeting, the Seymour Noon Lions were treated to a wonderful surprise from one of our own.

Lion Bob Beatty took our well‑worn President’s Podium—an item that has stood with us through countless meetings, ceremonies, and moments of service—and gave it a remarkable new life. With great care, he sanded and re‑stained the wood, restoring its warmth and character, and then completed the transformation by affixing a beautiful new Lions emblem to the front.

The result is nothing short of stunning. Lion Bob’s craftsmanship shines through in every detail, and anyone who has seen his work at the Itsa Unique-a Hand Made shop in downtown Seymour knows the talent and heart he pours into every project.

Lion Bob, your dedication, skill, and generosity have given our club something truly special. The Seymour Noon Lions extend our deepest thanks for the time, effort, and pride you invested in this project.

Well done, Lion Bob—your work reflects the very spirit of Lionism.

Today, we proudly celebrate 109 years since the founding of Lions Clubs International and honor the vision of our founder, Melvin Jones.

As Lions, we are entrusted with a legacy shaped by generations of service‑minded leaders who came before us. Their message remains our guiding light — “We Serve” and “Where there’s a need — there’s a Lion.”

With humility, purpose, and unwavering dedication, we continue this extraordinary tradition of service, carrying it forward for those who will follow after us.
