We will have a gathering for a meal and prayer and worship at our place this month. The meeting has been set for the last Saturday at 5 pm.

What if the Bible wasn't written to tell you how to live your life but to tell you about Jesus? What if you have been taught the morals of Bible stories wrongly. What if, in the story of David and Goliath you David isn't representative of you? What if the whole thing is just about Jesus and what he has done?

As we shelter in place I am reminded each day that he is our shelter, a safe place. I have found great peace in knowing that he has hidden me in himself and that no matter what is going on I am hidden in the rock of ages. There is joy beyond measure in knowing this Good King.

If God is sovereign and good, some are asking, why doesn’t He stop the coronavirus?

A lurking quarantine, a potential stimulus, and a shortage of food and necessities.

America is in a weird place right now. As Christians, we are living in the midst of an amazing time to share the hope we have, and live in the peace that only Christ can give. We have an amazing opportunity to !

So, here’s a challenge: When you go out to buy your essentials, if you happen to find toilet paper, wipes, Lysol, hand sanitizer, diapers or any other items, buy a pack and give it to you neighbor or someone in need.

If you get a bag of beans, or some meat , but an extra pack for someone else! Let our communities know that they will be provided for in this time of need! God gave food for the ravens, and made mana rain from the skies. He will take care of us too!

We have nothing to fear! Our good and gracious King has defeated our greatest enemy. No matter what happens, it is for our good and His glory. Let's rest in the joy of our salvation, and love our community. Be The Church!
