How amazing is organ donation? The gift of life from one to another!! 💚💚💚

"When I was 14, I was diagnosed with IHSS, a disease that affects the muscles of the heart. At age 26, I underwent a myectomy and a pacemaker implant. Fast forward 27 years, and my heart was failing, and it was not only itself failing but also had affected my liver and kidney to the point they were failing as well. At 53, I underwent a triple organ transplant from one donor. If not for the selfless act of this person. A total stranger who made a decision so that their organs could be used to save lives, I would not be here today. We have all dreamed at one point in our lives that we were heroes and we would save the day. My donor achieved that dream and will always be my hero and the reason that I live every day to the fullest.
