Do you know a young person between the ages of 16 and 24 who wants to get involved, make a positive impact, and gain real experience? We hope you will help us find them.

The Clallam Resilience Project is seeking youth from Clallam and Jefferson Counties for an summer internship focused on leadership, community resilience, and Positive Childhood Experiences. Interns will work alongside community partners to help plan Resilience Month 2026, develop outreach materials, and build real skills in communication, planning, and leadership — all while earning a $500 stipend.

This is a meaningful opportunity for young people to have their voices heard and make a tangible difference in the communities where they live. Flexible hours and a flexible start and end date make this accessible to a wide range of youth. The Summer Internship was inspired by Mel Melmed and is in appreciation for her community contributions.

Please share the attached flyer with youth in your network — in classrooms, caseloads, or wherever young people show up in your work and world.
