Common sense but seems that it needs to be repeated all the time every year. You never know what’s under that waters surface. It could be a foot deep or the road could be gone and now you’re. Just turn around and go back.

Local cold case reward increased looking for information.👀

A 23-year-old woman’s 1983 murder has yet to be solved, but thanks to a larger-than-normal reward offer, the Guadalupe County sheriff is hopeful new information will soon help crack the case.

Sheriff Joshua Ray recently made a public plea for information in the July 1983 killing of Dilia Hernandez Soto, and Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers followed that by offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the crime. The combination could help turn up something to identify Soto’s killer, Ray said.

Lake Dunlap VFD is raffling off this beautiful 4 seat golf cart. Funds will be used to fix our fire station and add an additional bay for a new grant funded fire truck arriving in 2027.
