Total roster of 18 students, bringing together 9 elementary and 9 middle school riders - with shared goals to build skills, confidence, friendships, and more time outdoors in the fall season ahead!

We’re looking forward to learning, laughter, dusty tires, high-fives, and watching these riders grow - on and off the bike.❤️

Saturday’s Elite Eight showed up for the OCS Bike Skills Park! 🚲💪

A huge thank you to the volunteers who spent their Saturday helping clean up the park and get it ready for kids to ride!

Pictured left to right: Christian Rodriguez, Marty Glinsky, Brad “the Hunk” Vierek, Claire Earles, Teddy Armstrong, Lane Armstrong and Eli Doyle, along with one of our favorite park champions. Eric Wyles was behind the camera, rounding out the Elite Eight.

Extra shoutout to Christian, Claire, Eli and Lane, who are all Mingus Union High School National Honor Society students, with Eli serving as NHS president. We love seeing young people step up and give back to the places that bring their community together.

Big shoutout to the Mountain View Preparatory crew for showing up big for their recent bike park maintenance day! Tons of students came out, grabbed some tools, and helped take care of a place where they get to ride and grow together.

Days like this are about more than maintaining trails. They give students a chance to:

🛠️Take ownership of their bike park
🙏🏽Work together and give back
🌱Learn what it means to care for the place we ride
🚲Build a stronger riding community

🚵‍♂️ Wheel Fun Alumni Giving Back! 🚵‍♀️

A huge shoutout to members of the Sedona Mountain Bike Club Team who came out to volunteer and help prepare our Dr. Daniel Bright Bike Park for another season of young riders!

As part of their Advancement and Lettering Program, these students are encouraged to give back through service in their community. What makes this even more special is that almost every one of them is a Wheel Fun alum! ❤️

There is something pretty incredible about watching kids who benefited from a program come back years later to serve the program and the community that helped them get started.

This is what community looks like. Kids growing, leading, serving, and giving back.

🚲 More kids. More bikes. More opportunities to belong.

Thanks to the incredible support of Thunderbirds Charities, Wheel Fun is continuing to grow in Pinal County, putting bikes in the hands of kids and creating no-cost opportunities for them to get outside, build confidence, and connect with their peers and coaches.

The bike may be the tool, but what happens along the way is so much bigger. 💙

52 schools. 11 counties. One incredible year.

As we wrap up another season, we are reminded that Wheel Fun has never been about bikes alone.

It is about helping young people build confidence, find belonging, connect with caring adults, and discover what they are capable of.

This year, students rode thousands of miles, learned new skills, made new friends, explored their communities, and created memories that will last a lifetime. None of it would be possible without the coaches, schools, families, volunteers, donors, and partners who show up for kids every day.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

🚲 Big news for Apache County! 🚲

We are excited to officially welcome the Legacy Teen Center Middle School Program to the Wheel Fun family as the first Wheel Fun program in Apache County.

What started with a trailer full of bikes, helmets, and excitement is now creating new opportunities for local youth to build confidence, develop healthy habits, make connections, and experience the freedom that comes from riding together.

This launch would not be possible without the incredible partnership and support of the Legacy Teen Center, Apache County, dedicated community leaders, and volunteers who believe in investing in young people.

Every new program represents more than bikes. It represents a community coming together to ensure kids are known, supported, and given the chance to thrive.

Welcome to the team, Legacy Teen Center. We cannot wait to see where this journey leads. 💙
