Events from Our Friends ✉️ We warmly invite you to join a very special retreat beginning September 3rd in Romania.

The retreat opens with four days of teachings on one of the most profound practices of the Mahayana path — treating oneself and others the same, and exchanging self and others — based on the teachings of Master Shantideva. This will be followed by a four-day silent retreat, giving participants the space to truly absorb and experience the practice.

On September 10th, the retreat will conclude with a fire puja.

This is a practical method for changing how we relate to ourselves and others. Step by step, we begin to loosen the habit of putting ourselves at the center of everything and discover what happens when care for others becomes just as real and natural.

Participants will learn:
- How to see themselves and others as equals
- How to switch perspectives in a real, experiential way
- How to work with emotions like pride, jealousy, and comparison without suppressing them
- How to expand their sense of “me” to include others

The retreat will be guided by Venerable Lobsang Gyelse, a teacher with over 30 years of deep study, meditation, and service, including completion of a traditional three-year retreat. She is known for making profound teachings clear, grounded, and transformative.
