When school lets out for the summer, free and reduced meals can disappear for hundreds of our kids in Highlands County. When school meals stop, kids lose more than just lunch.

A nutritious meal fuels kid’s confidence, concentration and momentum to learn and grow .

What do you do when your truck breaks down and needs repairs but there are still runs that need to be made?? You use a lifeline and phone a friend. So grateful for the partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay. Reggie drove down from Tampa this morning with fresh produce and dairy for our Agency partners to distribute to those in need. We are officially 1 day away from our Cereal for Summer Collection Day! 🥣💛

On tomorrow, Friday, June 5th, we are coming together as a community to take a bite out of hunger by collecting cereal boxes to benefit the Heartland Food Bank. From 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, our teams will be stationed at 2 different drop-off sites in Highlands County located at our North Sebring and Lake Placid Publix stores.
