After hearing about the great numbers of local homeless children. A Heart Like His Foundation decided to tackle the problem by launching a new program called Friday Kid's Pak. This new program is designed to feed hungry / food insecure / at risk children / over the weekend when school meals are not available. These children have no control over their homelessness or family situation – they are innocent in their circumstances. These at risk children are fed in school during the week, however many leave school on Friday not knowing if they will eat a meal before returning to school on Monday. Our goal is to provide these children a Friday Kid's Pak containing: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 snacks, 2 fruit cups, 2 milk boxes and 2 juice boxes. The children will receive their Friday Kid's Pak from a school administrator every Friday during the school year. We are looking for churches, clubs, organizations, and local business to get involved. Please consider hosting a food drive or making a monetary donation.
