3W Medical for Women Wellness for Washington Women We're located in the U-District of Seattle near the University of Washington (UW) campus.

3W Medical for Women is a nationally accredited non-profit women's reproductive health clinic staffed by licensed medical professionals. We provide free-of-charge medical-grade pregnancy testing and well woman exams (including breast exam, pelvic exam, and Pap smear if needed), as well as low-cost STD & STI testing, evidence-based education about your reproductive health, and outside referrals for continued medical care and social services. Sports physicals in Seattle: 3W Medical has you covered!

3W provides detailed physical examinations for young women and girls ages 12 and older.

For a standard fee of just $50 per appointment + a $20 visit fee, young women and girls ages 12 and older can receive a physical examination from one of our licensed medical providers. During this appointment, patients will:

• have up to 1 hour with a licensed medical clinician
• complete a standard medical history form adapted from the national standards of the American Academies of Family Practice and Pediatrics
• have a chance to discuss any questions that arise in connection with that history
• receive a thorough physical examination that meets the standards of schools and camps
• leave with a completed eligibility form or (if a problem is discovered) knowledge of the next steps that should be taken to become eligible for their sport or activity

**Note: A parent or legal guardian is required to accompany children under the age of 18.

PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome) is being renamed PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) to better reflect what this condition actually is: a complex hormonal and metabolic disorder affecting the whole body, not just the ovaries.

Focusing only on one part of the body, the name “PCOS” often led to confusion, delayed diagnoses, and incomplete care.

This shift toward PMOS represents a bigger movement in women’s healthcare: treating women holistically instead of reducing symptoms to one body part. Hormones, metabolism, mental health, inflammation, nutrition, and reproductive health are all connected.
