It is based in the Research Section of the Department of Family Medicine, part of the University of Washington School of Medicine. While there has been much attention on nursing staff turnover in skilled nursing facilities (SNF), less is known about another significant part of SNF staffing - therapy staff. In our new study published in Medical Care Research and Review led by Rachel Prusynski with co-authors Tracy Mroz & Bianca Frogner, we examined patterns of therapy staff turnover in SNFs since the start of the pandemic.
