Today is World Menstrual Hygiene Day. 🩸

Dignity is not a privilege. It is a human right.

Your donation helps provide reusable menstrual kits and reproductive health education so girls can learn, grow, and thrive without shame or barriers.

💛 $125 provides 12 reusable menstrual kits

💛 $1,000 supports reproductive health education for 10 classrooms

Uman Tok kit distribution has fallen from a peak of 23,000 kits to just 1,690 so far this year.

Why? Global aid cuts forced many NGOs and partners to scale back, stop ordering kits, or end their work with Uman Tok altogether because funding disappeared.

Behind every missing kit is a girl more likely to miss school, fall behind, or lose confidence.

While others are being forced to leave, Schools for Salone is committed to staying.

In 2025, 80% of USAID-backed projects disappeared — cutting off critical support systems for girls across Sierra Leone.

Almost overnight, many lost access to menstrual hygiene products, reproductive health education, and the safe spaces they depended on.

Despite these challenges, Uman Tok reached 870 girls this quarter alone with menstrual hygiene kits and sexual & reproductive health education that help them stay in school.

We cannot let this work disappear.
