FEED THE 50 — DISTRICTS 1 & 2 UNITED IN SERVICE

DDGM Abdulmalik M. McHenry proudly announces a powerful collaboration between District 1 and District 2, joining together in service to our community through the Feed the 50 Outreach.

With the support of Big Mac Wagon BBQ LLC, I Have Your Back Nonprofit Organization, , and Union Lodge #43, we are bringing our resources, leadership, and commitment together for one purpose: serving the community and uplifting those in need.

Today’s Feed the 50 outreach was another powerful example of what community service looks like when people come together with a shared purpose.

We were honored to have Most Ancient Matron Timika Sanford of Willie K. Jennings Court #6, Past Most Ancient Matron Timeka McHenry, Past Master Boyd, and the dedicated RISE Center staff working side by side to serve our community.

Together, Feed the 50 and the RISE Center provided a combined total of 100 meals to individuals in need today.

Every plate served represents more than a meal — it represents compassion, dignity, fellowship, and a commitment to showing up for our neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, supported, donated, prepared food, and helped make today possible. The work continues, one meal and one act of service at a time.

District 2 is launching our Thanksgiving Turkey Drive to help families in need throughout our community.

We are asking our Brothers, Sisters, families, friends, businesses, and community supporters to donate turkeys, canned goods, dry foods, and other Thanksgiving meal items so we can prepare complete holiday baskets for families who may be struggling this season.

Every contribution makes a difference. One turkey can help feed a household. A few canned goods can help complete a basket. A bag of dry foods can become part of a full Thanksgiving meal. When the community comes together, small donations become meaningful support for families.

The Turkey Giveaway will take place November 21 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the RISE Center of Tacoma.

Please donate what you can, share the flyer, and encourage others to support this effort. Help us fill these baskets and make Thanksgiving a little brighter for families in need.
