It’s World Photography Day! 📸✨🎞️

World Photography Day is a day to celebrate the invention of the daguerreotype, a photographic process developed by Louis Daguerre in 1837.

189 years later, we have the honor of witnessing and supporting the next generation of photographers! It’s a gift to see what young creatives want to show to the world, and to be a part of it.

Summer camp was such a blast working with Emi and the amazing Youth in Focus students.

Huge thanks to SHOOTER who helped the student filmmakers bring the music video to life!

“I’m Anthony Martinez, a Seattle photographer and filmmaker. For me it’s never really been about the gear — it’s about the person in front of it. I built my whole practice on that: soul before technique, every time. That’s what I bring into the classroom too.
