The mission of the Greater Seattle Choral Consortium is to promote the choral art in the greater Seattle area through collaboration, public awareness, and performance. We envision a region of thriving choral ensembles that enrich our community through shared resources and inspired artistry. The member choirs of the Consortium have come together to strengthen and promote the First Art through collaboration, collegiality, and cooperation.

There was a moment when the audience stopped being just an audience.

As voices joined together during the Community Sing-Along, strangers sang beside one another, and Seattle Center became one giant choir. It was impossible not to feel the power of a community creating something beautiful together.

Thank you Greater Seattle Choral Consortium for giving all of us a chance to be part of the music and for helping make the very first Seattle Center Classical possible.

We hope this was the beginning of a new tradition, and we're so grateful you were part of it.

🎶 Join us for Seattle Center Classical — a free outdoor music festival celebrating the joy of classical music for everyone!

On Sunday, July 5, the International Fountain Lawn will come alive with live performances, hands-on musical experiences, family-friendly activities, and community connection beneath the Space Needle. No tickets required!

Presented by Classical KING and Seattle Center, the festival features some of the Pacific Northwest’s leading arts organizations, including Early Music Seattle, Greater Seattle Choral Consortium, Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, Seattle Chamber Music Society, Seattle Opera, and Seattle Symphony.

All performances take place on The Concert Truck stage, culminating in a community sing-along led by the Greater Seattle Choral Consortium. Whether you're a lifelong classical music fan or just curious to explore, everyone is welcome.
