The Bridges United Foundation is the social impact arm of Ballard FC and Salmon Bay FC.

It serves as the strategic umbrella for all community work undertaken by the clubs, focused on free soccer camps and clinics in underserved areas of King County.

That’s a wrap on our 2026 summer girls clinics!

We were able to have 10 free clinics this summer with coaching from Salmon Bay players and ZGiRLS workshops that our players led after going through the “train the trainer” courses.

A special shoutout and thank you to King County Parks for being our grant sponsor and allowing us to increase the amount of clinics we have.

This summer we had over 100 campers join us for 5 days of free soocer and fun at Georgetown Playfield.

What a season of donations it was!

Thank you to everyone who donated and believes in our mission to build bridges by promoting play equity through the beautiful game.

Your generosity created meaningful impact and allowed us to benefit hundreds of youth across King County - providing critical play resources this summer. And all at no cost to our participants.

We couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for being a part of the positive impact and change in our community!

Building confidence with doesn’t stop during the summer!! ✨

We’re excited to share that Bridges United has partnered with ZGiRLS to offer Girls Clinic participants free access to their online confidence programs this Fall (Oct 7 – Oct 28)! Additionally, ZGiRLS confidence-building activities will be implemented throughout our 8 remaining Girls Clinics this summer!!

ZGiRLS helps girls build confidence during a stage when friendships shift, social pressure grows, and self-doubt can start to creep in. Girls learn practical tools to manage self-talk, build resilience, and develop a strong, healthy mindset both on and off the field.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended and helped put together the “Soccer is Solidarity” event Monday night at !!!

Some of the guest speakers included Mayor Katie Wilson, King County Councilmember Jorge Baron, and the Seattle Public Schools middle school student who sparked the inspiration for the event.

You can continue to show solidarity for communities targeted by immigration enforcement by joining us in wearing a jersey every Wednesday!

That’s a wrap on our first two Free Salmon Bay FC Girls Clinics for the year!! But don’t worry, we’ve still got 8 more clinics filled with smiles and skill development to go! ⚽️

Salmon Bay FC and the Bridges United Foundation are partnering to help young girls of all socioeconomic status enhance their skills, build leadership qualities, and foster a love for the beautiful game.

Girls who participate in these clinics will have the chance to be coached by Salmon Bay players and coaches. Thanks to our coaches will participate in “train the trainer” courses, and be best prepared to support all clinic attendees in developing their confidence - on and off the pitch. Additionally, all clinic participants will receive free access to the 4-week ZGiRLS Confidence Program this fall!

Free Foundation Camp ⛺️ ⚽️

Our annual FREE Summer Youth Camp is back for another summer!

This year, we will have five days of free soccer programming at Georgetown Playfield from June 29th to July 3rd. Campers can sign up for full or half day camps.

We’ve been providing a free weekly soccer clinic in partnership with for two and a half years. And now we’re excited to grow this program with clinics specifically for girls and led by coaching staff this spring!
