Yesterday, the Ballard Boys & Girls Club proudly served as the host site for the 36th Legislative District Mid-Session Town Hall.
Community members gathered alongside our local elected officials — Senator Noel Frame , Rep. Julia Reed , and Representative Liz Berry for a thoughtful and engaging discussion about the issues shaping our district and state.
Legislators responded to questions on a wide range of topics, including affordability, immigration enforcement protocols, voting rights protections, community safety, sustainability and plastic pollution, higher education and financial aid, child care access, special education and disability funding, and law enforcement credentialing.
We were honored to welcome more than 100 community members, including. King County Councilmember Jorge L. Barón , who joined neighbors and families in this important conversation.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event a success. Meaningful civic engagement strengthens our communities — and we are proud our 33 Clubs across 11 legislative districts can continue to serve as a space where dialogue, connection, and collaboration can thrive regardless of age or zip code.
