Congratulations Team Phineas. 🎉 🎓 🦮
Phineas graduated yesterday as a working guide. He will be living and working in Amherst, MA with his partner Elysse. They make a great team. We look forward to hearing about their many adventures together.

May 2026 Pupdate for Kershaw

Kershaw is the sweetest, cutest boy and he always gives me 110% effort! He's gotten to do even more exploring around Portland and has gotten to go on some nice, long routes. This boy is fast, but takes everything in stride! He still loves to chew a bone in community run or play with his friends. Thank you for all the time you have put into Kershaw. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with him!

PD: First photo: Male black Labrador Retriever, Kershaw, sits in front of two pink densely flowered bushes. He is wearing his GDB harness and there is a teal and tan braided leash attached to his collar. Second photo: Kershaw stands in the grassy free run area. He is looking up at the camera and his mouth is partially open, looking like a smile.

May 2026 Pupdate for Fendi

Fendi is the most adorable little girl! We absolutely love having her here on campus, she is such a good girl! She loves getting extra cozy with blankets and chewing on all different kinds of nylabones. She is very excited for the next steps in her journey and we love getting to know her fun personality.

PD: First photo: Fendi, a petite female yellow lab, is laying on a blue kuranda bed. She has a fleece blanket underneath her, and a red lobster toy as well as an orange shaped toy next to her on the bed. She is laying with her front paws dangling over the corner edge of the bed and is looking at the camera with big bright eyes. Second photo: Fendi, a petite female yellow lab, is curled up in a bed with blankets. She is laying with a blue and black blanket directly beneath her and she has another red and white blanket covering the bed. She has a fish nylabone in front of her and is looking very sleepily at the camera.

Pups in the city. Our puppies hopped on the light rail to visit the Chihuly Glass Museum and Space Needle. Raisers and pups enjoyed a panoramic city and mountain view.

Thanks SeaTac Airport and TSA for the great experience for our pups.

Fendi jumped on the puppy truck today for her next adventure at GDB. She will first be evaluated for breeding before beginning her formal training. We will miss this sweet girl, but look forward to watching her progress in training towards her new career.

Second photo of a woman holding a 13 week old yellow lab male while standing next to a man holding the leash of a 16 month old female yellow lab/golden cross wearing her puppy coat.

Thanks Port of Seattle and TSA for the amazing tour of SeaTac Airport for our puppies in training.
Many of our puppies after finishing formal training will go through an airport to fly home with their new partners. This experience was invaluable for our pups and raisers.
