August 2026 Pupdate for Discover

Discover has been studying and working hard to learn what it takes to be a guide dog! He is such a fun dog to work with; he has a wonderful, eager-to-please attitude and is so proud when he masters a new skill. Discover is enjoying time relaxing in foster care this month as well, soaking up plenty of sunshine and affection from his foster care provider. We're excited to continue watching this sweet boy discover more about the guide dog life!

August 2026 Pupdate for Fendi

Fendi is such a sweet girl. She loves playing with her friends during community run, and she lights up whenever there's a toy to play with. She's smart, sweet, and always ready for fun. She enjoys her kibble and truly embodies the very good girl she is.

Congratulations Team Kershaw. Kershaw graduated today as a working guide dog and will be living in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his partner Ted and family. They make a great team. We look forward to hearing about their many adventures together.

July 2026 Pupdate for Discover

Happy summer from Discover! He is discovering what life on campus is like, enjoying playing with jolly balls with his roommate and splashing around in the pool during community run. However, he seems to think that learning how to be a guide dog is the most fun part of life on campus; Discover loves working with his instructor and learning new skills. I love his enthusiastic and affectionate personality. Thank you for raising this lovely boy!

July 2026 Pupdate for Kershaw

Happy July from Kershaw! This sweet boy has been a blast to work with, and I mean that both literally and figuratively because this boy is fast! He has such a sweet and affectionate personality, I've enjoyed getting to know him. We've been exploring so many exciting areas this month, including complex city routes and quiet trail walks. Kershaw has been a joy to train! When he's off-duty, you'll typically find him chewing on his favorite bones or playing with his friends.

July 2026 Pupdate for Fendi

Fendi is a very sweet girl who loves a good chest scratch. She's always happy and adores playtime, especially community run with her friends. On hot days she has a blast splashing in the kitty pools during community run. She's just the sweetest girl!

June 2026 Pupdate for Kershaw

Happy spring from Kershaw! This sweet boy greets every day with enthusiasm and joy. He is adorable during breakoffs, wagging his whole body as he holds his toys in his mouth. During guidework, he loves speeding down blocks and targeting objects for his handler. I feel lucky to get to work with such a happy-go-lucky, hardworking boy.
