Ludington Area Curling Club The Ludington Area Curling Club is open to anyone in west MI; hosted at West Shore Comm. College

Our club got it's start in 2019, thanks to Dan and Jen Hinderer bringing their love and knowledge of curling to Ludington. With the gracious help of the West Shore Community College Ice Arena, Dan got some "learn to curl" events going to teach the sport to people of all ages in the community. Curling stones were generously loaned to us by the Circle City Curling Club in Indiana to get us started.

As people continue to get interested, some more dedicated folks have joined together to form the non-profit Ludington Area Curling Club. We've been a little slow to get started with Covid in the middle, but now we are gaining momentum and growing our Club. In addition to hosting learning events, we will start to create a club membership system to help cover costs for ice time and equipment needs. For the '24 - '25 season, we again have two sheets of ice for our use. In the fall, we'll host learn to curls and "drop-in" league curling - we will mix up teams every week and teach as we go. Thanks to West Shore Community College for hosting us and adding the curling markings to the ice!
