The next meeting will be held today, June 24th @ 7:00pm in the grandstand at the fairgrounds.

Check your email for the 2026 Potential Buyer Form, which is due tomorrow. Anyone who is planning to sell must get the signature of two buyers, per project animal, to avoid an additional 5% penalty.

Prizes! - 1 market lamb or 1 market goat to raise and show at the 2026 Western Michigan Fair!

All applicants must be between the ages 5-19, enrolled in the West Michigan Livestock Council program in Ludington, and have parental permission to potentially receive, house and care for a lamb or goat to qualify.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀:
Applicant must hand write or type an essay detailing each of the following:
• Why they would like to raise and show a lamb or goat
• How they will provide care to their animal
• How and what they will feed them
• How they will prepare them for showing
• Why a buyer should bid on their project

All applicants must also include:
• Name
• Age
• Address
• Phone or Contact number

*Top 3 entries for a lamb will be interviewed by Acres Co-Op & Shelby State Bank to determine one winner for a lamb locally raised & hand-picked by P & M Sheep Farm Club Lambs

*Top 3 entries for a goat will be interviewed by Acres Co-Op & Shelby State Bank to determine one winner for a goat locally raised & hand-picked by PB & J Boer Goats
* All top 3 entries will win 1 free bag of Kalmbach show feed
